I think you missed the point. I believe this request for a "gatekeeper" was in
response to a posting critical of a Linux Astronomy Resources HOWTO. I didn't
keep the originals but there was a statement to the effect that the LDP was for
Linux and that the original poster (briank@hex.net) should take his astronomy
howto elsewhere. So in that context, a gatekeeper would be someone who lets in
some howto's and keeps out others.
I just wrote one and am thinking of writing another HOWTO so I am somewhat
interested in an answer also. Is there an LDP gatekeeper? If so, is it a
voluntary position, a committee, or just whoever happens to feel like answering
the mail that day? Or do you just "receive and process them" as was stated
above, with no regard for content?
